A little game to start with: easy interstellar cryptography puzzle

This shows the inside front cover of my book as it’s sold on our home planet, for the sake of people who don’t know the English alphabet.

The language here in this standard edition is all English, including this text. If you can decrypt this frontispiece, I’ll send you a free copy of the book. All the information you need to do this is already posted in this blog.

My Earth representatives will post an email address if someone posts the correct answer in a comment. Then you can email them securely without posting your address online, and give them an address they can send a published-quality pdf copy to. Your address will not be recorded or re-used.

  1. By the way, if you’re interested in encryption, see this Daily Dot article where student Hristo Bojinov has come up with a way of using what we would call ‘adherent memory’ to securely encrypt a password in the un-verbalized part of your mind.
